Rose Bowl Diving Celebrates Strong Performances at 2026 Nationals
AAU Nationals and USA Diving Junior Nationals are the culminating events of the diving season, bringing together top divers from across the country to compete on the national stage. This summer, Rose Bowl Diving was proud to have athletes represent our team at both national championship events.
At the 2026 AAU Diving National Championships, held July 15–23 at the Fort Lauderdale Aquatic Center in Florida, we had 12 Rose Bowl divers compete: Charlie DeHaan, Isaac Kamara, Dante Grossa, Ben Kim, Sean Kim, Jean Luc Miralda, Sam Harris, Isa Oberosler, Elen Navasardyan, Alice Shanas, Lula Marquis, and Scarlett Anajjar.
Our team earned several standout national finishes, including a national title from Isaac Kamara in Boys 18, 1M and a national title from Charlie DeHaan and Isaac Kamara in Boys 16–18, 3M Synchro. Charlie DeHaan also earned 2nd place in Boys 17, 1M, while Ben Kim placed 2nd in Boys 12, 1M. Alice Shanas had a strong showing in the Girls 9 & Under events, placing 4th on both 1M and 3M.

We were also proud to have Ben Kim represent Rose Bowl Diving at the 2026 USA Diving Junior Nationals, another national championship event and one of the highest levels of junior diving competition in the country. The meet was held July 27–August 4 at Mylan Park Aquatic Center in West Virginia. Ben competed in the Boys 12–13 events, placing 13th on 1M with a score of 252.95 and 15th on 3M with a score of 251.75.
